Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani woman born to an Russian father and mother who is a Hindu Indian mother. Mahendru is fluent in German Russian and English and also speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, is fluent of both Indian and Russian. When she was 11 Annat Mahendru choreographed, and performed a dance which led to a German TV appearance. The dance included a snow maiden from Russia that transformed into an entertaining Indian dancer. She graduated from high school within New York before earning a Bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. She studied acting classes in the HB Studios. She later left to pursue improvisational comedy at the Groundlings School. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as a Russian-speaking mother Olga. In her teens the divorce of her parents took place and they moved her from Kabul Afghanistan to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell as well as Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. In FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable television appearance. She is known for her frequent appearances on Fox's The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
